Karolina Muchova is aiming to save an inevitable ranking slump this tournament at the 2024 US Open and she is showing her insane talents once more at Flushing Meadows.
Playing the rising talent of Katie Volynets, the Czech ace who recently returned after nearly a year off the tour showed she has still got it.
Producing an utterly insane behind the back lob tweener shot, she threw caution to the wind to catch Volynets out before smashing it down the line for the point.
At 4-1 up at the time, she was full of confidence and it certainly showed. How far can she go this fortnight at Flushing Meadows? If she produces more Muchova magic, it could be far indeed.
