(VIDEO) Ons Jabeur spotted dancing in Cancun after arriving at WTA Finals as injury doubts dispelled

Tunisia’s tennis star Ons Jabeur has appeared in a video on social media where she was dancing ahead of the WTA Finals.

The 29-year-old is one of the eight players set to take part in the WTA Finals which is set to begin in the Mexican city of Cancun. In a video that appeared on social media, Jabeur can be seen dancing after reaching the city ahead of the mega-event.

The current world number seven will be hoping to have a good outing in the last major tournament of 2023. Overall, Jabeur did not have a great time while playing at the highest level this year. She played in the main round of all the Grand Slams but managed to qualify for the quarterfinal or beyond on just two occasions.  Her best outing came while playing at Wimbledon where, for the second year running, she ended as the runner-up at Wimbledon.

This time, she lost the final of the mega-event to Czech Republic’s Marketa Vondrousova in straight sets with a score of 6-4, 6-4. Other than that, Jabeur also played in the quarterfinal of the French Open where she ended up losing to Brazil’s Beatriz Haddad Maia with a score of 3-6, 7-6, 6-1.
