(VIDEO) Serena Williams remains coy on US Open retirement: "I'm going to stay vague because you never know"

Serena Williams has had huge fanfare at this year's US Open after hinting towards Flushing Meadows being her final bow in tennis.

But after defeating Danka Kovinic, the pull to step away is still not fully there for the Greatest of All Time.

"It's extremely difficult still because I absolutely love being out there," said Williams. "The more tournaments I play, I feel like the more I can belong out there.

"But it's time for me, you know, to evolve to the next thing."

"I've been pretty vague about it, right," smiled Williams. "I'm going to stay vague because you never know."
