Spanish star
Paula Badosa has called her relationship with a
fellow tennis player Greece’s
Stefanos Tsitsipas a ‘blessing’.
Both tennis players have been dating for a while and are considered
a powerful couple in the sport.
Badosa, while talking during Q & A session on her
Instagram, revealed that having a friend-like partner is nothing short of a
‘blessing’.
“Can't choose one,” she said. “We have so much fun together,
feels like having a best friend by my side. We understand each other and we are
always there for each other. We are a strong team together. It's a blessing.”
The 25-year-old is currently spending time on the sidelines
after suffering a back injury during Wimbledon 2023.
That halted her progress as she was forced to retire from
the second-round clash against Ukraine’s Marta Kostyuk in the third Grand Slam
of the year.
On the other hand, Tsitsipas will be also looking to bounce
back after a disappointing Wimbledon where he lost to America’s Christopher
Eubanks in the fourth-round clash in a five-set thriller with a score of 3-6,
7-6, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4.
