"When you're away from your boyfriends": Aryna Sabalenka makes hilarious slip-up speaking about boyfriend, jokingly wishes she had more

Aryna Sabalenka made a hilarious slip-up where she accidentally went plural when she was talking about being away from her family and her boyfriend. She candidly discussed the difficulties of being on tour and being away from her loved ones.

Sabalenka has been in a relationship with former ice hockey player, Konstantin Koltsov since 2021 but accidentally said boyfriends instead of boyfriend and in typical Sabalenka style, she styled it out.

She burst into laughter and clarified she only had one boyfriend before joking that she wishes she had more than one. This was prior to her marathon win over Peyton Stearns which saw the Australian Open champion save four match points in a match she dubbed one of the craziest and best of her career.

The American matched her throughout and produced an epic display, but Sabalenka just survived in a deciding set tie-break so getting her relationship status wrong was the only slipup so far during her Indian Wells campaign it seems.

"I think the toughest moment is, like, when you're really down, like, you're not feeling great, you're not playing great level and you're away from your family, from your friends, boyfriends," said Sabalenka before realizing.

"Boyfriends? (bursts into laughter). No I have only one guys. I wish. I wish. So, one more time," she said.
