The 2023 Jiangxi Open will take place over the next week starting on 16 October - 22 October and the draw has now been confirmed ahead of one of the final WTA tournaments of the season.
It is the last week of the season compared to the ATP which will now have the European Hard Court swing to contend with. Tournaments in Cluj-Napoca, Monastir and Nanchang are set for the next week before the WTA Finals.
Beatriz Haddad Maia was one of those players initially in the running for the WTA Finals, but instead she will play in Nanchang in the final WTA tournament from China this year. She faces Nao Hibino first.
As well as the Brazilian, Leylah Fernandez who will have to hot foot it from Hong Kong to Nanchang after reaching the final could be a title holder again come her appearance next week. She is unseeded though and could face Anna Blinkova again in the second round.
Others involved include Marie Bouzkova, Ningbo finalist Diana Shnaider, Magda Linette and Xinyu Wang with the draw in full below.
