WTA DRAW 2024 Adelaide International featuring Elena RYBAKINA, Jessica PEGULA, Marketa VONDROUSOVA and Angelique KERBER

The WTA draw has been confirmed for the 2024 Adelaide International which will take place between January 8-13, 2024 and follows on from the Brisbane International as a warm-up prior to the Australian Open.

Elena Rybakina leads the field as top seed, but may be a doubt depending on how the schedule lies. She is slated to play in the final in Brisbane on Sunday but has a bye to face Jasmine Paolini or a qualifier in the second round. Another factor is also it being the week before the Australian Open begins.

Jessica Pegula could face Paula Badosa in the second round with the Spaniard getting a wildcard so is unseeded. They sit in a tough quarter also with Beatriz Haddad Maia the other seed facing Ajla Tomljanovic or Karolina Pliskova.

Other stand-out ties include Angelique Kerber facing Daria Kasatkina, while the winner will take on Barbora Krejcikova. Jelena Ostapenko and Sorana Cirstea face off in the first round, as do Anastasia Potapova and Lesia Tsurenko. A top field assembled in Adelaide and some real popcorn ties in the week leading up to Melbourne.
