The WTA tour will descend upon Cluj-Napoca, Romania following the
Australian Open, as the
Transylvania Open is slated to run from February 5-11, 2024.
A WTA 250 event, the Transylvania Open will see WTA stars attempt to pick up the pieces after the first Grand Slam of the season. Featuring a 32-player singles draw and a 16-team doubles field, the event was lifted by Germany's Tamara Korpatsch in 2023. Korpatsch will return to defend her title at this year's edition, although she is likely to face some stiff competition.
Pliskova, Trevisan hoping to add title to resume

Martina Trevisan. Former champion Anna Blinkova will also be at the event, with the Russian tennis player lifting the event in 2022. Below is the full list of entrants.
