The
WTA Finals continue with another great day of tennis as day four brings us Badosa against Sakkari and Sabalenka against Swiatek.
The WTA Finals on day four will bring us two very interesting matches that will send one player into the semifinals while another home. In the first match at 21:00 CET, we will have the winners of the first matches play against each other.
Paula Badosa will take on
Maria Sakkari and the winner of that match will move on to the semifinals.
Both played extremely well in the first round but they also faced opponents who to a degree beat themselves. Either could win this match and it will come down to who has more consistently. Sakkari has looked a bit more impressive and sure of herself so far but counting out the Spanish player would be a mistake. Either way, it should be a spectacle so don't miss it.
In the 2nd match at 02:30, we will see
Iga Swiatek take on
Aryna Sabalenka. Both of these players did not play too well in the first round with both giving their opponents too much. Swiatek looked overwhelmed by the moment and she admitted as much to after the match. Bouncing back in strong fashion will be paramount for her if she wants to overcome Sabalanka.
The Belarussian player always fights and rarely gives away matches for free. She will need to win this one if she hopes to stay in the race for a place in the semifinals. Who wins this match remains to be seen but with elimination on the table there should be drama.
