The WTA tour will make a stop in Austin, USA for the 2024 ATX Open Austin, which will run from February 26-March 3, 2024.
A WTA 250 event, the ATX Open will feature 32 singles players and a 16-team doubles draw. After a successful inaugural edition last year, the tournament will make it's return, much to the delight of the thousands of tennis fans in Austin. Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk won last year's edition, but compatriot Anhelina Kalinina will be the top seed at the event.
Two-time Australian Open winner Victoria Azarenka is slated to compete at the event, and the Belarusian will be joined by 2017 US Open champion Sloane Stephens. The two veterans are sure to have large targets on their backs, as the likes of Diane Parry and Viktorija Golubic are also scheduled to compete. The tournament will offer a prize money pool of $267,082, with $35,250 going to the champion, alongside 250 WTA ranking points. Below is the full breakdown.
