WTA Race to Fort Worth: Bencic Kontaveit move closer to spots leading to Finals

A couple of players had a good week last year and improved their chances of making the WTA Finals in Forth Worth last week.

The top 8 players this year will play against each other in the WTA Finals to finish off the season. Some players are pretty much confirmed for the event but there are a few more spots up for grabs with many players trying to get in.

Swiatek and Jabeur are the ones that qualified so far with the rest not yet officially confirmed. Pegula is the 3rd player and she is pretty certain to qualify as well. The next batch are likely to qualify as well with Garcia, Kasatkina, Sakkari, Kudermetova and Badosa.

They are all fairly close in poitns so anything can hapen especially iwth the indoor seaosn in full swing. Anett Kontaveit and Belinda Bencic are both out as of now but they made huge strides with strong showings las tweek. Check out the race below.
