The Special K's played their first doubles match at the
Japan Open and they easily won against Nishioka and Uchida 6-1 6-2.
Not playing for a while together did not bother Kokkinakis and Kyrgios who looked every bit as dominant as they looked in Washington where they won the trophy. The Australian doubles pairing are continuing to dominate and will probably find themselves in Turin playing the year-end doubles event if they continue this way.
Today's match was a rather simple one for them as they easily bested the Japanese players who struggled to break their opponents on the net especially. Nishioka and Uchida were also attacked on their serve with both Kyrgios and Kokkinakis creating a lot of damage with the returns.
They dropped only three points on their first serve and only two on their second serve which is incredible. Obviously, they didn't face any break points and it was just an easy straight-set win.
