Madison Keys remains at the top of the WTA Race without playing, while Belinda Bencic moves up after an impressive run at the Abu Dhabi Open. Unlike the official WTA Ranking, which accounts for the past 52 weeks, the WTA Race only considers points earned in 2025. By the end of the season, the top eight players will qualify for the WTA Finals.
At the moment, the Australian Open champion leads the standings, with Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek completing the podium. American players are making a strong impact this year, with four representatives in the top 11.
Keys sits atop the leaderboard with 2,554 points, courtesy of her titles at the Australian Open and Adelaide International, boasting a perfect 12-0 record this season. She is followed by Melbourne runner-up Aryna Sabalenka, who holds second place with 1,810 points, enjoying a comfortable lead over the rest of the contenders.
Iga Swiatek (1,225) occupies third place after reaching the Australian Open semifinals and making a strong run to the United Cup final. The mixed-team event has been the main source of points for Coco Gauff (940), who currently sits in fourth place after falling in the Australian Open quarterfinals.
Spain’s Paula Badosa (907) holds sixth place, just behind newly crowned Abu Dhabi Open champion Belinda Bencic. The Swiss player defeated Ashlyn Krueger (10th, 574 points), arguably the most surprising name in the top 10. Not far behind is Emma Navarro in 11th place (549 points), completing four Americans in the top 11.
Rounding out the top spots are Ekaterina Alexandrova (7th, 636 points), Elena Rybakina (8th, 595 points), and Clara Tauson (9th, 585 points).
