Roger Federer will be the star name of the 2021
Geneva Open which will run from May 16th - 22nd in Switzerland as the draw projects interesting matchups.
The 'Swiss Maestro' will be the first-seeded in Geneva and therefore he will also receive a bye. In the second round, Federer will meet the winner of the match between Jordan Thompson and Pablo Andujar. In the possible quarterfinal match, the Swiss can meet against one of
Christian Garin, Marton Fucsovics, Marin Cilic or home wild-card Dominic Stricker.
Besides Federer, there are many interesting names in the draw, such as
Denis Shapovalov who was close to beating Rafael Nadal on clay in Rome. The second-seeded Canadian will take on Stefano Travaglia or one of the qualifiers in the second round.
