2021 Lyon Open Tuesday Schedule of Play with Monfils, Sinner and Karatsev

The 2021 Lyon Open is a clay event running from May 15h till May 22nd headlined by Dominic Thiem and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
The 2021 Lyon Open is a really strong ATP 250 event played on clay and headlined by Dominic Thiem and Stefanos Tsitsipas. The main draw will start on Monday, May 17th with four singles matches including some interesting matchups. Besides those matches, we will also have the rest of the qualifiers who will round up the draw.
The Lyon Open really kicks off on Tuesday with 8 interesting matches with some great ones as well. The Monday schedule was plagued by rain delays so the programme will largely depend on the weather but it complies it should start at 10:30 CET.
Auger-Aliassime will take on Musetti in a matchup of two youngsters that should have many clashes in the future. A bit later we will see Khachanov take on Bonzi while Sousa will play Majchrzak. At noon we will see Monfils take on Harris in a matchup that should deliver some spectacular tennis. Another native player in Tsonga will take on Paul at 13:30. 
The final two matches will feature very interesting matchups and it will start at 14:00. Rinderknech will fly the French flag high against Ymer who is the better clay player should have an edge in this one. The best match of the day will start at 15:00 and it will be Sinner vs Karatsev.
Both of them have played very well on clay so far and both enjoy aggressive play which should make for a winner-filled match and some exciting tennis.

Monday, May 17th:
Play will start rather early in the day at 11:30 with Aljaz Bedene taking on native Gilles Simon. With a native player, playing expect some fans in attendance as well. At 13:00 we will have another native player as Moutet will take on Norrie. A bit later in the day, we will have another native player in Humbert take on Nishioka. Neither play enjoys clay which should make for an interesting matchup.
The best match of the day will be played at 16:00 CET as Herbert takes on Korda. Korda reached the 4th round of the Roland Garros last year so his familiarity with the red clay in France is rather well. Besides these matches, we will also have several qualifying matches which you can see below.
