2021 Nitto ATP Finals Draw announced, Djokovic with Tsitsipas, Rublev and Ruud

Novak Djokovic leads the field of the 8 best players in 2021 and the Serbian will play Tsitsipas, Rublev, and Ruud in Group Green while Medvedev leads group Red with Zverev, Berrettini and Hurkacz.

The 2021 Nitto ATP Finals is the closing ATP event for players who proved the beat during the course of the 2021 year. The field is led by Novak Djokovic who will finish this year as the number one player in the world which is the 7th time he will do so. That is of course a record and Djokovic recently set another one by becoming the player with the most ATP 1000 trophies with 37.

Besides Djokovic, we will see many other great players including Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev, Matteo Berrettini, Andrey Rublev. We will also see two newcomers with Casper Ruud and Hubert Hurkacz making their debuts at the event. The alternate will be Jannik Sinner who narrowly missed out on qualifying for the event. The event will run for 7 days from November 14th till November 21st.

The 8 players have been spread into two groups of four. In the first one Djokovic will play against Stefanos Tsitsipas, Andrey Rublev and Casper Ruud. In the 2nd one we will have Medvedev, Zverev, Berrettini and Hurkacz. Both groups are rather good and quite balanced with some great matchups in both. Djokovic will also finally get to face Andrey Rublev after they avoided each other for quite some time on the ATP Tour.
