2021 US Open Day 8 ATP & WTA Schedule of Play with Djokovic, Zverev, Andreescu, Bencic

The event is slowly entering its final stages with only the best-performing players remaining. Day 8 will start at 17:00 CET and the first match of the day will be a WTA match. Belinda Bencic will take on Iga Swiatek for a place in the quarterfinal and it should be a great match. Both have played well and Bencic once played in the US Open semifinal as well.

It will continue with native Shelby Rogers taking on Emma Raducanu which should be a spectacle. Both will enjoy support from the crowd and it should prove a match filled with great rallies. Later on, we will see Pliskova take on Pavlyuchenkova. The Czech player struggled against the Russian in previous matches but she is putting up a serving clinic so far at the event which should benefit her.

The final match of the day will be between Andreescu and Sakkari and it is set to start at 03:00 CET. On the men's side, we will start at 18:00 CET on Ashe and it will be Alexander Zverev against Jannik Sinner. A great matchup between two players who played great matches against each other before. Reilly Opelka and Lloyd Harris should play another interesting match where either has good chances.

A bit later we will see Matteo Berrettini take on Oscar Otte in what should prove a very measured match for Berrettini. The Italian is in need of some good results and this is a great chance. The final men's match should start at 01:00 CET and it will be Novak Djokovic vs native Jenson Brooksby. A highly entertaining matchup where Brooksby will try to take Djokovic to task.
