The BMW Munich Open is hosted in the city of Munich, Germany and is the first of four German tournaments on the ATP calendar, running from April 17-23, 2023.
An ATP 250 event, the Munich Open has seen some hometown heroes lift the trophy, including Philipp Kohlschreiber (2007, '12, '16) and back-to-back victories for Alexander Zverev (2017-'18).
Zverev is scheduled to compete this year, as is defending champion Holger Rune. American No.1 Taylor Fritz will be present, alongside former Wimbledon runner-up Matteo Berrettini. The prize pool will offer €562,815, with the winner obtaining 250 ATP ranking points.
