"A great read for anyone looking to be inspired" - Music legend Jon Bon Jovi full of praise after reading Roger Federer's biography

Roger Federer has been an inspiration for tennis fans around the world. His playing technique, winning tendencies, business ventures and his mantra to lead a happy life has influenced many, and American singer-songwriter Jon Bon Jovi is no exception.

The Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee recently spoke about how the 20-time Grand Slam winner has inspired him after reading one of his biographies.

The tennis legend and Bon Jovi have come together multiple times over the last two decades. Their friendship, unlikely as it seems, is a great example of how two people from totally different professions can come together and appreciate each other’s expertise and hard work.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Bon Jovi shared a picture of himself reading "Federer: The Definitive Biography" written by Chris Bowers and tweeted his love and admiration for the 20-time Grand Slam winner.

"A great read for anyone looking to be inspired. Cheers to you Roger Federer," he wrote.

The most remarkable thing about their friendship is the support they have for each other. The Swiss legend is a big fan of Bon Jovi’s music and has repeatedly shared his admiration for the singer on multiple occasions.

In 2014, Federer attended Bon Jovi’s show at Madison Square Garden. He also took a group picture with the singer backstage, revealing that he is a big fan of his "Livin’ on a Prayer" track. In 2017, when asked who he would want to play doubles with, the Swiss responded without hesitation that it would be Jon Bon Jovi.
