As clip of practice session sends tennis fans into overdrive, Roger Federer enjoys retirement with Thailand trip

Although Roger Federer hung up his tennis racket almost two years ago, the Swiss Maestro seems to be having fun in retirement as he was pictured taking a vacation in Thailand.

The former World No.1 enjoyed a career that spanned over two decades, setting various records that ranged from winning 20 Grand Slam singles titles to setting a then-record number of weeks as World No.1. After a bout with surgery towards the end of his career, the Basel native rode off into the sunset at the 2022 Laver Cup, teaming with longtime rival and good friend Rafael Nadal in his last ever professional match.

Despite calling it a career, the 42-year old still makes appearances at tennis events, ranging from Wimbledon to the Laver Cup. There has even been footage of the Swiss Magician practicing on the tennis court, although he has no plans of returning to the tour. Nonetheless, Federer still travels the world with his family as pictures emerged of him in Thailand, where he seemed to be having a good time.
