The ATP 250 event will be held at the Sichuan International Tennis Center in the city of Chengdu, the capital of China's Sichuan province. This will be the fifth edition of the tournament and the first since 2019 after strict COVID-19 restrictions made it difficult to compete in China during the pandemic.
Heading up the draw is World No. 10 Zverev, who like the other top four seeds will receive a bye through to the second round. There, he will face either Daniel Elahi Galan or a qualifier.
Third seed Dimitrov is also on Zverev's side of the draw and is likely to face World No. 47 and seventh seed Miomir Kecmanovic as long as the Serbian defeats his qualifier opponent in the Round of 32.
Meanwhile, second seed Musetti, who recently revealed that he and his girlfriend Veronica Confalonieri are expecting their first child together, will prepare to face either Portugal's Nuno Borges or a qualifier.
Fourth seed Dan Evans will also receive a bye to the Round of 16, where he will await the winner of the clash between Brandon Nakashima and Roman Safiullin.
Outside the top 4, fifth seed Alexander Bublik will face Marcos Giron in the Round of 32. The Kazakhstani player will be hoping to put an end to his four-match losing streak on the ATP Tour and can take some motivation from the fact that he won two singles matches for his team in the World Group I Davis Cup tie against Bulgaria.
Sixth seed Max Purcell will face compatriot Jordan Thompson in the first round, while eighth seed Aleksandar Vukic will play Japan's Taro Daniel.
Elsewhere, Dusan Lajovic - who just helped Serbia qualify for the Davis Cup quarter-finals - will be playing against wild card Zizou Bergs.
