The
draw has been released ahead of
Mexican Open Acapulco, an ATP 500 tournament which will take place between 26 February - 2 March, 2024 and sees
Alexander Zverev as top seed.
It will be an all German clash in the first round as he faces Daniel Altmaier. The winner faces Diego Schwartzman or Miomir Kecmanovic.
Holger Rune returns and could face Los Cabos finalist, Jordan Thompson in the second round.
Alex de Minaur is third seed, while others involved include
Taylor Fritz. He faces Matteo Arnaldi.
Like Thompson,
Casper Ruud will also hot foot it from Los Cabos and face Christopher Eubanks.
Stefanos Tsitsipas will face Roman Safiullin, while other clashes include Tommy Paul facing Jack Draper and Ben Shelton unseeded takes on Dan Evans. A superb line-up with many of the first round clashes being must watch. A tournament that had to get their act together to even stage it due to Hurricane Otis and with players being told to stay in their hotels due to high rates of crime, they have succeeded thus far in getting it up and running.
