ATP DRAW 2024 Rio Open including Carlos ALCARAZ, Cameron NORRIE and Nicolas JARRY

The draw has been confirmed ahead of another week of South American Clay Court action headlined by Carlos Alcaraz at the Rio Open in Brazil. Due to take place between 19-25 February, 2024, it is an ATP 500 with many having a good chance as a result to gain vital points.

Alcaraz faces Thiago Monteiro in a favourite v home hero scenario. Stan Wawrinka or Sebastian Baez could be his first big name opponent in the latter stages. Cameron Norrie opens against Hugo Dellien, while Nicolas Jarry will face Yannick Hanfmann as third seed. With the Argentina Open Buenos Aires and even Cordoba the week before, it is almost the same field again with Francisco Cerundolo also involved.

Arthur Fils faces Joao Fonseca, a name Brazilian rising star and a highly touted hope in an intriguing first round clash also confirmed. Will Alcaraz add Buenos Aires and then add a second title in two weeks? Time will tell but on paper, he should be winning this title.
