The ATP tour will be making a stop in Marrakech, Morocco for the Grand Prix Hassan II tournament, which is slated to run from April 1-7, 2024.
An ATP 250 event, the Grand Prix Hassan II is the only ATP-level tournament on the African continent. The clay-court tournament features a rich history of previous champions, ranging from three-time Grand Slam titlist Stan Wawrinka to Frenchmen Gilles Simon and Benoit Paire. Two Moroccans have won the title in their home country: Hicham Arazi in 1997 and Younes El Aynaoui in 2002.
The 28-man singles field will feature a variety of ATP stars, with 2010 champion Stan Wawrinka in the hunt for the title. Defending champion Roberto Carballes Baena is also slated to compete, with Serbian Laslo Djere set to be the top seed. Former World No.6 Matteo Berrettini will be competing at the event, as the former Wimbledon finalist hopes to play his way back into form. Below is the full list of entrants.
