The 2nd day of the ATP Finals in Turin, will bring us world number one
Novak Djokovic to the courts with the Serbian explaining ahead of the event how motivated he is to do good. Djokovic has not played too well in the last couple of editions of the event but having taken quite a bit of time off before the event he feels ready to tackle the challenge.
It will have to start from
Casper Ruud who is his first opponent. The Norwegian expressed relief after qualyfing for the evetn saying he is looking forward to the experience withouth having any expectations. There is not better baptism by fire than against Djokovic and that match will start at 14:00 CET.
The 2nd match of the day will start in the evening at 21:00 CET and it will be
Stefanos Tsitsipas against
Andrey Rublev. The Greek tennis player pulled out of Paris due to an injury and it remains to be seen in what conditions he arrived in Turin. His opponent Andrey Rublev endured a tough stretch as well having playing lackluster tennis overall.
The Russian is looking to change that in Turin saying he is feeling much better mentally than a few weeks ago which impacted him negatively on the court. Who will have the edge remains to be seen as both have won matches against each other before. Don't miss it and if you do come back here for a report!
