The ATP Finals will take place between 13-20 November and after the Australian Open, the
ATP Race to Turin has also shuffled with
Jannik Sinner taking the lead atop the standings as expected after sealing a maiden Grand Slam triumph.
Sinner sits on 2,000 points after only playing the one tournament this season and accruing that many points, with many of the top names who added points for the first time wiping out those who had played in the weeks prior. This is aside from
Alexander Zverev for instance who reached the semi-finals, but also gained points from the United Cup.
Daniil Medvedev was in a similar situation to Sinner and so sits on 1,300 points after sealing a final spot.
Novak Djokovic and Andrey Rublev round out the top five respectively. Currently with the top eight qualifying, the field tomorrow would see Hubert Hurkacz, Alex de Minaur and Taylor Fritz seal the deal. Carlos Alcaraz sits just outside in ninth. But of course there is a long way to go when it comes to the Race to Turin but certainly at least the top five will all be frontrunners for the spots come the end of the season if not all eight currently qualified.
