Andy Murray suffered his latest setback with a defeat to Benoit Paire at Open Sud de France Montpellier with the Frenchman getting his first win in 18 months on the main ATP Tour 2-6, 7-6, 6-3 as the former World No.1 remains to have questions surrounding his tennis future.
But on Tuesday night, he has hit back at the critics and those saying that he is tarnishing his legacy by carrying on while he sits without a win so far this season on the ATP Tour. He said that he will not quit and we will fight on to produce what he is capable of.

"Tarnishing my legacy? Do me a favour. I’m in a terrible moment right now I’ll give you that. Most people would quit and give up in my situation right now. But I’m not most people and my mind works differently. I won’t quit. I will keep fighting and working to produce the performances I know I’m capable of," wrote Murray on X formerly known as Twitter.
