ATP Rankings Update: Djokovic holds No. 1 as Medvedev back to No. 2

With every Monday we have a new ATP Rankings and this one on May 10th see Medvedev and Berrettini move up while Djokovic holds the top spot.

It was a great week of tennis at the Madrid Open with Alexander Zverev ending up as the champion beating Matteo Berrettini in the final. Both of them earned quite some points by doing that but only Berrettini moved up to number 9 as Zverev stayed at 6. Medvedev is back to number 2 still trailing Novak considerably who holds number one.

Another semifinal by Ruud made him jump six spots to number 16 while notable performances by Popyrin and Delbonis made them jump over ten spots on the rankings. In total 5 players earned career-high rankings this Monday. They are Ruud at 16, Bublik at 39, Koepfer at 50, Popyrin at 61 and Musetti at 82.

There were some shakeups in the ATP Race to Turin as well with Berrettini entering the top 8 that also features leading duo Tstisipas and Rublev along with Djokovic, Medvedev, Zverev, Karatsev and Hurkacz. Check out the full rankings below:
