ATP Rankings Update: Djokovic retains number one ahead of Medvedev, Tsitsipas and Ruud moved up

Novak Djokovic won the 2022 Rome Masters and he extended his lead over Daniil Medvedev on the top of the Rankings.
The Russian could have taken back the number one spot in the past few weeks depending on how Djokovic played but the Serbian played fabolous tennis in both Madrid and Rome to erase any doubt over who the best in the world is. Medvedev is returning to tennis this week in Geneva and he will be looking to shorten the gap as quickly as possible.
Stefanos Tsitsipas jumped over Rafael Nadal for the 4th spot as the Spaniard was the defending champion in Rome and ended up losing points. Casper Ruud had a strong event and he jumped up to number 8 on the rankings with Berrettini dropping down to number 10. A couple of players made moves as well with Giron moving up 11 spots, and Altmaier moving up 12 spots. Check out the full rankings below.
