As the latest ATP tournaments come to a climax, there is movement in the rankings once more. As the players travers back to Europe to compete in the indoor events, familiar faces pick up titles and gain ground on their rivals once more.

Ruud and Auger-Aliassime back into the top 10

Casper Ruud clinched his second title away from his favoured clay surface, defeating Ugo Humbert 6-2, 6-3 to win the Nordic Open. The 250 event was competed by a plethora of big names with the top four seeds all venturing to the semi-finals. However, it was Ruud who takes home the biggest prize, as he makes a welcoming return to the top 10 in the world, rising two places into 9th with 3,145 points.
A similar tale can be said for Felix Auger-Aliassime who continues his positive end to the campaign with a title Brussels, coming out on top over Jiri Lehecka 7-6(2), 6-7(6), 6-2. Similar to Ruud the Canadian was the second seed in the event, and after winning the prestigious title also clambers up two positions to force his way back into the top 10, just behind Ruud in 10th with the exact same number of points. Aside from this, the top 10 remains the same.

Draper and Rune suffer from these rises

The two casualties from this are Jack Draper and Holger Rune. Draper continues to miss events due to an arm injury he picked up at Wimbledon, forcing him to pull out of the US Open and miss the Asian swing. As high as number four in the world a few months ago, he now leaves the top 10 in the world as a return to the court comes closer.
While a semi-final in Stockholm is a decent result for Rune, he still finds himself tumble down a couple of positions to 12th in the world, losing 190 points with his new tally now at 2990. It was a heartbreaking end to the Dane's competition, suffering a serious ankle injury which could possibly see him miss up to a year of action.

Title for Medvedev gets him back on track

After a year of decline, Daniil Medvedev has finally got some positive news as he rises one place up to 13th in the world after claiming the title in the Almaty Open against Corentin Moutet. The Russian has looked closer to getting back to his best with deep runs in Beijing and Shanghai but can finally lift his first trophy since Rome back in 2023. Humbert's final appearance in Sweden bumps him up a place into 23rd, while fellow Frenchman Moutet boosts himself up to 34th in the world after the Medvedev final defeat.

Mpetshi-Perricard big faller

The big serving Giovanni Mpetshi-Perricard picked up the title in Basel last year, defeating a number of big names enroute to the title. Ahead of defending his title, he has plummeted down 22 places with a new position of 55th in the world. The damage was limited by a semi-final run in Brussels, losing out to Lehecka in a match with zero breaks of serve.
Arthur Fils has not hit a ball in anger since the Canadian Open with injury keeping him out for the rest of 2025. He drops down five positions with the 200 points from his semi-final in Basel being taken off, lowering him down to 35th in the world.
