The Open 13 Provence final will feature Auger-Aliassime and Tsitsipas. Felix has been having a really good couple of weeks. It's his 2nd final in consecutive weeks and he will be looking to alter the result from the previous one. It won't be an easy task as his opponent is the defending champion Tsitsipas.
The Canadian has played some good tennis lately but it wasn't without a problem. He had to go the full distance in two of his matches even saving multiple match points. While his fitness and stamina are impressive for someone so young it must have taken a toll. When you add in the fact it's his 2nd straight final his prospects of winning look slim. However, he is 4th on the list of most finals with 5 as a teenager so his future is bright.
Tsitsipas is back to doing Tsitsipas things. After a lacklustre showing in Australia and a shaky start to the hardcourt season, he is finally playing better. It's no coincidence he did it in Marseille. He enjoys playing here and he won it last year so he came back to do it again. So far so good because he has been good throughout the week. He beat most of his opponents in straight sets.
Felix will be his toughest opponent yet. Not only because he has a winning record (2-1) against Tsitsipas but also because he is the best tennis player he faced this week. He has experience and fitness over Felix and that might be crucial. It should be a very good final between two-player who know each other very well. We will have a report for you later today so come back for that!
The Final starts at 14:00 CET.
