Holger Rune is seen alongside Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz as one of the players who will take the sport forward post the Big Three with only Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal remaining.

But he has added another cog to his team that like his other current coach has previously worked with one of the Big Three. That being Roger Federer's former coach, Severin Luthi.

Holger Rune adds longtime Federer coach Severin Lüthi to his team, joining longtime Djokovic coach Boris Becker.

Først Djokos gamle træner, så Federers. Lüthi ku godt være lige den slags erfaren stabilitet, der er brug for.

15 years of experience with Federer

Luthi was pictured alongside his mother Aneke, Lapo Becherini who worked with Rune while with Patrick Mouratoglou as he is a part of his Academy so that link semi remains as a performance coach for Rune as well as Boris Becker.

Becker of course previously worked with Novak Djokovic, so he has added two cogs from two of the best of all time to aid him ahead of the 2024 season.

Luthi was welcomed alongside Boris in a group photo and caption as Rune wrote: "Very happy to welcome Severin to my team alongside Boris." The Swiss coach was involved with Federer for 15 years from 2007 until his 2022 retirement and is also currently the Swiss Davis Cup captain.

This comes after a successful few months after Rune parted ways with both Patrick Mouratoglou and then Lars Christensen who previously worked with him and became a sole coach before Boris Becker. The tennis legend worked with him on a trial basis before it was extended indefinitely into 2024.

"I am very excited to continue my partnership with @holgerrune2003 in 2024," Becker wrote on X, the platform formerly called Twitter, on Nov. 19. "We are building a team around Holger to bring out the best version of himself, on and off the court."
