Netflix will endeavour back into tennis in the coming months after releasing the trailer for their documentary with Carlos Alcaraz with April 23 seeing the series starting.

As it turns out, the tattoo was temporary, lasting around 36 hours, according to Marca. By the time Alcaraz steps back on court on Monday, it will have already disappeared.

But it will be out on the date mooted with a teaser post done appearing to show the four-time Grand Slam champion getting his latest tattoo with the end of the video confirming the release.

After Break Point ran for two seasons, it is not the first time that Netflix has stepped into tennis but they left promptly after. The behind-the-scenes look wasn't well received but they dipped their toes back in with the Netflix Slam.

Alcaraz was followed for nine months across 2024 as he won Indian Wells, China Open and became the youngest man to win the Surface Slam as he won his first French Open and he defended his Wimbledon title just weeks later.

But he also faced adversity missing a significant chunk of the clay court season due to injury. He also lost to Botic van de Zandschulp at the US Open. Alcaraz also suffered a heartbreaking loss to Novak Djokovic in the gold medal match at the Olympic Games.
