Carlos Alcaraz has had a tough draw at the Australian Open. The player from Murcia will face the veteran Richard Gasquet in the first round and until the fourth round, in theory, he would not have an seeded opponent, which could be Tommy Paul.
Logically, facing a hypothetical quarterfinals against Zverev or Ruud as possible rivals. In semis could appear Medvedev or Rune and in a hypothetical final everything that is not Novak Djokovic would be a surprise. Jannik Sinner is also on the other side of the draw.

- The main difference for bigger names like Alcaraz, Sinner, Zverez, etc. is that they usually make it to the later stages of tournaments while 99% of the other players win a round or two and then move on to the next tournament.
