The WTA Draw has been confirmed ahead of the 2024 Australian Open which takes place between January 14-28 with Aryna Sabalenka being the defending champion defeating Elena Rybakina in the final last year.
Iga Swiatek is the top seed in Melbourne aiming to claim her first Grand Slam in Australia. She will face off against Sofia Kenin in the first round. The winner will face Danielle Collins, a former finalist or Angelique Kerber, a former champion who is returning after becoming a mother.
Rybakina aiming to go one better faces off against Karolina Pliskova in a blockbuster first round. The same can be said for two-time champion Naomi Osaka who faces Caroline Garcia to open up.

Sabalenka has it a bit easier as defending champion and will take on a qualifier. Emma Raducanu in her opener faces Shelby Rogers, there is also the potential for Ons Jabeur facing Mirra Andreeva in the second round.
Swiatek after facing Kenin likely faces a tough run furthermore as she could face Elina Svitolina in the fourth round who beat her at Wimbledon or Jelena Ostapenko also in the Quarter-Finals who beat her at the US Open.
