The Chengdu Open is due to take place between 23-29 in China with Alejandro Tabilo being the defending champion ahead of the first part of the Asian hard court swing to end the season off.

An ATP 250 tournament, it is headlined by former Shanghai champion Valentin Vacherot. Others involved include Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Botic van de Zandschulp, Hubert Hurkacz, Nuno Borges.

Albeit it could yet see some big names with potential wildcards as ever for those in China early for Beijing or Shanghai. But it is likely to be this highly competitive filed.

Tabilo won the title last year after seeing off Lorenzo Musetti 6-3, 2-6, 7-6. It is also the first ATP action post US Open with Guadalajara and Sao Paulo this past week on the WTA.
