The China Open is the benchmark event to begin the Asian hard court swing in Beijing on the ATP side. This will be between 30 September - 6 October on the men's side.
Jannik Sinner is defending champion, but he won't defend his title after announcing his withdrawal. The Italian ace can't be back after not playing since Wimbledon.
Alexander Zverev is top seed now and he is joined by Felix Auger-Aliassime, Novak Djokovic, Flavio Cobolli and Alex de Minaur among others. It is the week after the Laver Cup.
