Tennis fans around the world do not have to wait much longer for the anticipated return of Rafael Nadal, as the Spaniard is set to face compatriot Carlos Alcaraz in an exhibition match next month.

Nadal was slated to return to action this season in Brisbane, after missing close to a year due to injuries. However, the former World No.1 suffered a setback, causing him to miss the 2024 Australian Open and subsequent tournaments. However, with Nadal aiming for a return at Indian Wells, the Spaniard will be facing Alcaraz in an exhibition match on the eve of the ATP Masters 1000 event.

Dubbed "The Netflix Slam", the match is scheduled to take place on Sunday March 3, 2024. The streaming giants acquired the rights to broadcast the encounter, therefore it will be available exclusively on the Netflix platform. With the Indian Wells tournament slated to begin on March 6, Nadal and Alcaraz will face off a few days earlier in Las Vegas, inside the Michelob ULTRA Arena of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
