Djokovic narrowing gap in GOAT race to Federer and Nadal

The Serbian has already won two Grand Slams this season and he is one win away from his 3rd. If he wins Wimbledon he will equal the number of Grand Slam titles of Federer and Nadal at 20. The Serbian will also come very close to completing the calendar Grand Slam which was never done before.

The Serbian was able to advance to the Wimbledon finals despite a lacklustre effort which saw him beat Shapovalov who was the better player for the majority of the match. Djokovic admitted as much after the match as did Shapovalov who was extremely disappointed by his performance claiming he wasted a great chance.

In order to win Wimbledon, he will need to defeat Matteo Berrettini who has dominated his way to the final. The Italian possess all the tools to win the final especially considering his form. They lastly played at Roland Garros where Berrettini took a set off Djokovic and played very well.
