Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal most searched athletes of 2022 on google so far this year which is not a surprise.
As the year comes to a close we find out what people searched for most on Google. The overwhelming majority of people around the world use Google as their preferred search platform and we have the final list of the top 10 most searched athletes.
Four tennis player made the cut this year with Novak Djokovic sitting on top as the most searched. The Serbian received a lot of publicity this year starting with the Australian Open and that continue throughout the year as his vaccine stance continued to be an issue all year long.
Serena Williams and Nadal are also in there and it's not a surprise with Williams retiring from the sport and Nadal winning two grand slams. The final tennis player in the top 10 is Carlos Alcaraz with Roger Federer not present in the top 10.
That could considered somewhat as a surprise as the legend said goodbye to tennis earlier this year.
