Argentina defeated Poland 2-1 in Group E at the 2020 ATP Cup after almost 6 hours of play.

Guido Pella started the Day 2 against Kamil Majchrzak. We saw 3 sets that ended 6-2 but never for the same player two times in a row. First, it was Pella who won the first set 6-2. Majchrzak leveled the score by winning the second set 6-2. But Pella turned the tables by winning the third set 6-2 and earning the first point for Argentina.
In the second match, Diego Schwartzman faced Hubert Hurkacz as many expected the Argentinian to win. Schwartzman won the first set 6-4 after 47 minutes and it seemed that he was walking for an easy victory for Argentina. But Hurkacz fought in the remaining part of the match as he won the second set 6-2 and the third 6-3 to level the score of the tie.
In doubles, Gonzalez & Molteni represented Argentina as they faced Hurkacz & Poland who stood on the Polish side. The match was more one-sided than expected when the duo from Argentina got a victory 6-2 and 6-4 after just 69 minutes. Next, Argentina will be facing Austria at the ATP Cup.
