The ATP Tour will have some of it's superstars travel to Rio de Janeiro for the 2024 Rio Open, a clay-court event that will run from February 19-25, 2024.
An ATP 500 event, the Rio Open will feature a 32-man singles field and a 16-team doubles draw. The tournament, endorsed by the tour's clay-court specialist, had it's inaugural edition in 2014 won by Spanish legend Rafael Nadal. Former Grand slam runner-up David Ferrer has also lifted the title, in addition to 2020 US Open champion Dominic Thiem.
Former World No.1 Carlos Alcaraz, who won the title in 2022, will be looking to regain the trophy at this year's edition. The Wimbledon champion had a somewhat disappointing run at the 2024 Australian Open, losing in the quarterfinals to Alexander Zverev. Joining Alcaraz are Chilean Nicolas Jarry, as well as Argentine Francisco Cerundolo and Britain's Cameron Norrie, the latter whom won the title in 2023. Below is the full list of entrants.
