The Asian swing of the ATP Tour will be in full effect as tennis players will travel to Tokyo, Japan for the
Japan Open; scheduled to run from September 25 - October 1, 2024.
An ATP 500 event, the Japan Open is the longest-running ATP Tour tournament in Asia, first held in 1972. Rising American star
Ben Shelton won the biggest trophy of his career at last year's edition, and the Atlanta native will be hoping to win consecutive titles as he returns to the tournament this year.

Polish star
Hubert Hurkacz will be the top seed at the event, and the former World No.6 will be joined by Australian speedster Alex De Minaur. Greek tennis ace

Casper Ruud is also scheduled to compete at the event, alongside Americans Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul. Former US Open champion Marin Cilic will be making his return to the tour after battling with injuries, and the Croat will be competing alongside fellow returnee Reilly Opelka.
