Ex-coach of Roger Federer, Ivan Ljubicic thinks the Swiss has not completely shut the door on tennis and it's in line with what Federer said himself.
The Swiss Ace did not have a farewell tour with his fans but he's planning on having just that in the future. In an interview after his retirement, Federer talked about wanting to travel around the world and play tennis in order to properly say goodbye to his fans around the world. For now, it's unlikely due to his knee not being strong enough but he hopes that it will happen.
Ljubicic confirmed those plans in an interview with Marion Bartoli saying that the Swiss Ace practices regularly:
"He still practices when he can, he is still staying active, and he feels good. His life hasn't changed much. I know he would like to have fun on the tennis courts, that's the place where he feels the best."
