The Serbian had a perfect day on Sunday at SW19 defeating Matteo Berrettini in 4 and lifting his 6th Wimbledon trophy. Both Nadal and Federer have congratulated Djokovic on the win on social media and
Boris Becker believes they are inspired by Djokovic and what he is able to do. He said:
"I think they are liking what they see. It could inspire them to give it one more try. Tennis would love to see all these three players play the US Open."
Becker was also in awe of the collective accomplishment of the three players as he marvelled after the match talking to BBC Sport:
"Incredible, these three champions, they all played great at the same time. Sixty majors divided amongst them, 20, 20 and 20. Who would have thought that?"
He further added:
"Novak had a good story that when he started coming back on the winning side of the sport he was really inspired by Rafa and Roger and he said they're the reason he's still in this game. Kudos to all three players."
