As he prepares for his return to the ATP Tour, Roger Federer is taking time between practice sessions to relax his mind and body.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion is currently in his native Switzerland, but that didn't stop him from becoming a fan as he visited the home of Swiss ice hockey team SC Bern. The team has been the home to several NHL stars, including John Tavares, Roman Josi and Daniel Briere.
World No.7 Andrey Rublev also played the role of visiting fan this week, as he took a tour of the Nou Camp, home stadium for FC Barcelona. The Russian remained in the city following his quarterfinal loss at the Barcelona Open last week, and admitted that he's a big supporter of the club.
“When it’s something big, I follow. Like a final of Copa del Rey, for example,” Rublev said. “I wish them all the best. I hope they’re going to win La Liga.”
“It’s a huge stadium,” he added. “I was watching matches here a couple of times live and it’s amazing when it’s a full crowd. It looks like the stadium is never ending.”
