Federer would love to see Alcaraz in the Laver Cup

Roger Federer would love to secure the 2nd Spaniard for the Laver Cup in Carlos Alcaraz as Rafael Nadal signed up to play earlier this year.

The 2022 Laver Cup is shaping up to be an epic event in the famous O2 Arena which has hosted some spectacular matches in the past. Both Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have signed up to play at the event but the Swiss Ace is targeting an emerging superstar as well.

According to Marca, Federer and Godsick have bought into the Alcaraz hype and want to see him at the Laver Cup, a team tournament created by the Swiss ace and his TEAM8 management company. The event will run from September 23rd till the 25th.

A recently resurfaced video showed a 12-year old Alcaraz citing Federer as his biggest tennis idol. Well, they might defend the colours of Team Europe later this year together. Time will tell.
