"Good start to the week": Taylor Fritz' girlfriend Morgan Riddle shares delight after first round win

American tennis star Taylor Fritz kicked off his 2023 Roland Garros campaign with an easy victory on Tuesday, much to the delight of his girlfriend, Morgan Riddle.

The ninth seed recorded an easy 6-2 6-1 6-1 win over compatriot Michael Mmoh, requiring just an hour and 40 minutes to secure his spot in the second round. Riddle, who is a social media influencer, took to Instagram after the match and shared photos of Fritz interacting with fans and the media after the match.

"Good start to the week", Riddle captioned her Instagram story.

Fritz will take on local favorite Arthur Rinderknech in the second round, as the Frenchman upset former semifinalist Richard Gasquet in their opening round encounter.
