Novak Djokovic is sometimes hard to explain and
Diego Schwartzman gave it a pretty good shot explainnig that the Serbian seems like under control of a joystick.
The Argentian found himself on the other side of the net againt Djokovic on six different occasions and each time he fond himself on the losing side. He came close to beating Djokvoic twice, on clay both times, but the Serbian always found a way to wiggle himself out. Speaking to Fila News he said:
“Djokovic is something else, it’s like he’s controlled by a joystick.
It’s very difficult to be able to sustain what he’s doing, the changes
of directions. There comes a time when you can’t keep up with him."
It's a fairly accurate explanation by Schwartzman who is known as a very quick player capable of switching gears at will. But against Djokovic, even he has no chance in that department. He admitted as much saying:
"The way he changes directions, at that high level of tennis, the changes in direction are difficult to think about. The ball is coming at 100 kilometers per hour."
