Patrick McEnroe believes that
Novak Djokovic wil be ready for
Roland Garros despite some recent on-court struggles and worries about his elbow.
Novak Djokovic is not enjoying his best tennis days as the Serbian player didn't play very well at the two clay events he played so far. Neither Monte-Carlo nor Banja Luka were good outings for him and there have been some elbow injury concerns as well after he was spotted grimacing and holding his elbow in pain several times.
For McEnroe, it doesn't matter much as he expects him to be in good shape by the time Roland Garros rolls around:
"So Djoker will try to get those matches in. He's obviously concerned about one thing and one thing only, that's the French and making sure he's ready for that. My suspicion is he'll absolutely be ready for it."
He recently pulled out of the Madrid Open which worried many of his fans but it's probably to give himself a chance to prepare well for Rome after these recent struggles.
